Ozzi absolutely works to quiet food noise. I mix half a packet into a Waterloo sparkling water for lunch and often have the other half with dinner or after dinner when I'm craving a dessert. The smell is funky for sure but it does disappear as soon as its mixed into water. Peach is a great flavor. I haven't tried any others yet.
